We're turning the excitement up to eleven! Rounding out our tribute to the late, great Rob Reiner, SETA Movie Club is proud to present his directorial debut, and what a debut!

This is Spinal Tap is considered the granddaddy of mockumentaries; without its influence we may well not have gotten such treasures as The Office, Reno 911, or Parks and Recreation. Written by the stars and director of the movie, this classic from 1984 was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry due to being deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was also selected to join the Criterion Collection.
