About the Event
Join us for a fun-filled day for children and families! "Ours To Tell: Cherokee Stories" features performances from celebrated storytellers, engaging activities, and live illustration. Celebrate Cherokee stories — some new, others passed down through generations — together. Admission is free!

Schedule:
10 AM – Live readings with featured author Brad Wagnon
11 AM – Children’s activities and art
12 PM – Traditional storytelling with Candice Byrd-Boney
1 PM – Live illustration with MaryBeth Timothy

It was a rainy morning, but Cherokee storyteller Larry Shade still captivated our guests of all ages with his amazing stories. Afterwards, we had a clay medallion craft for the kids.
