Oklahoma Forestry Youth Camp Applications Due

Do you know a 13-15 year old who needs to unplug from electronic devices and enjoy an adventure in the forest?

At Oklahoma Forestry Youth Camp, kids learn from experts in the forestry sector about sustainability, conservation, and management of forests – all while having a ton of fun!

This is a sleepaway camp that offers:
* Swimming
* Canoeing
* Hiking
* Wood turning
* Fly fishing
* Archery
* Tree climbing

Campers will also have the opportunity to make new friends while learning about the environment.

This year, camp happens June 15-20, 2026, at Beavers Bend State Park. Registration is $100 and includes cabin lodging, meals, and programming for the week. Scholarships are available based on need and availability. Registration deadline is May 1.

I like to say that Oklahoma Forestry Youth Camp is like a Nature Science Camp.
Teens spend a week in the forest learning from researchers and professors at OSU and OU, foresters at OFS, and from folks who have spent their career in private forestry.  There are more careers in the field than most people know about, and this is a great way to learn about them and the world around us.
